Features

Features

Keep the Finder feel, then add dual-pane speed plus tools for Git, projects, and large copies.

Layout & navigation

Dual panes

Left and right panes are independent. Drag the divider to resize. The active pane is outlined in the theme color.

Tabs per pane

⌘T / ⌘W to open and close. Reorder tabs, or drag one to the other pane. Each pane keeps at least one tab.

Breadcrumbs and path entry

Back, forward, and parent, plus clickable breadcrumbs. The path field (⌘L) accepts ~.

Toolbar

Rearrange or hide items from the context menu, or from View → Customize Toolbar… — the standard macOS editor.

Multiple windows

⌘N opens another window on the same profile. Panes and tabs stay independent. Theme, favorites, and startup folders are per window.

Listing

List and columns

⌘1 / ⌘2 to switch. In list view, disclosure arrows expand folders in place, the same way Finder does.

Sort and column width

Sort by name, date, size, or kind. Drag a column edge to resize. Widths persist across launches.

Search

⌘F focuses the keyword field. Filter the current list, or hand the query to Spotlight. Changing folders clears the filter.

Media duration

Supported video and audio files show playback length beside the name.

Git branch badge

A repository root shows its branch. Right-click to open it in SourceTree, or git init a folder that is not a repo yet.

File operations

Drag and drop

Grab a row even if it is not selected. Same volume moves; ⌥ copies; ⌘ forces a move. Drop on a folder row to go inside it.

Copy and move

To the opposite pane with ⌥⌘C / ⌥⌘M. Progress, pause and resume, and conflicts: replace, keep both, or skip. Queue and completion notifications are optional.

Split copy

Files of 64 MB and larger transfer in parallel streams. An interrupted copy can resume where it left off.

Quick Look

Space / ⌘Y opens the same preview panel as Finder. Arrow keys step through a multi-selection.

Edit in place

Inline rename, duplicate (⌘D), new folder, and move to Trash. The file list does not permanently delete.

Open and inspect

Get Info (⌘I), Open With, Open in Terminal, Reveal in Finder, and copy the path. A folder can also start a local HTTP preview.
